Depot Manager
Battersea
£50,000 + £55,000 - Car/Car Allowance + 25 Days Holiday
NEOS Engineering Recruitment are working with a well-established and highly respected plant & tool hire business who are looking to appoint an experienced Depot Manager to lead one of their busiest and most successful depots.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable, profitable depot with a loyal customer base, an experienced team, and excellent support from the wider business. If you're looking for a role where you can genuinely make an impact without inheriting major issues, this is well worth considering.
The Role
As Depot Manager, you'll take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the depot, ensuring excellent customer service, commercial performance, and operational efficiency. The depot hires a wide range of plant, tools, and specialist equipment, operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop the depot team.
- Drive hire revenue and maximize profitability.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Ensure high standards of health & safety and compliance.
- Manage fleet utilisation, workshop, and transport operations.
- Monitor KPIs, depot performance, and service levels.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and develop new business.
About You
- Previous experience managing a plant hire, tool hire, or equipment hire depot.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Commercially aware with a focus on customer service.
- Comfortable working in a busy, transactional environment.
- Experience within plant & tool hire is highly desirable.

Package
- £50,000 to £55,000 Basic Salary
