Depot Manager
This Depot Manager role is an opportunity to oversee the daily operations of a general haulage depot within the 3PL transport and distribution industry. You'll play a key part in ensuring smooth logistics processes, helping the business meet customer demands efficiently.

This company operates within the transport and distribution industry and is based in Glasgow. (North M8 Corridor)
Description
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the depot.
- Ensure effective planning and scheduling of transport and distribution activities.
- Monitor and improve operational performance and efficiency.
- Oversee compliance with health, safety and regulatory standards.
- Lead and support the depot team to achieve business goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Prepare and manage budgets effectively.
- Analyse key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Profile
- Strong experience in a leadership role delivering depot in transport and distribution operations.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
- Good knowledge of health, safety and regulatory compliance within logistics.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Confident communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Ideally CPC qualified
