Deputy Business Support Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Deputy Business Support Manager to play a key role in supporting the smooth and effective operation of administrative services within the locality. Reporting to the Business Support Manager, the post holder will provide leadership and operational oversight to administrative teams while supporting service planning, governance, performance management, workforce processes, and business continuity.

The Deputy Business Support Manager will work closely with operational and clinical leaders to ensure high-quality administrative support is delivered across services, contributing to the achievement of organisational objectives and service improvement initiatives. The role includes line management responsibility for administration staff, oversight of workforce processes such as recruitment, attendance management and appraisals, and coordination of projects and operational activities at both locality and Trust-wide level.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated manager with strong leadership, organisational and communication skills who can effectively manage competing priorities, drive continuous improvement, and support the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality services.

The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day management and leadership of administrative services, ensuring the efficient delivery of business support across the locality. Working closely with clinical and operational colleagues, the post holder will support service performance, governance, workforce management, and service improvement initiatives.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator or manager to make a significant contribution to service delivery, staff development, and continuous improvement within a busy and dynamic healthcare environment.
