Your new role
This is a unique opportunity to work at the centre of the business, partnering closely with senior leadership, key stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and the Head of Governance. You will play an integral role in supporting the firm's governance framework, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations, and contributing to strategic governance initiatives. The role offers broad exposure across Board and committee governance, ExCo, partner affairs, regulatory compliance, and business-critical projects, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their governance and company secretarial career.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will be proactive, commercially aware, and eager to take ownership of a varied and rewarding workload. You will support the Head of Governance & Partnership Secretary in ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, maintaining governance frameworks, and overseeing constitutional processes across the organisation. - Providing Company Secretarial support to senior committees, including agenda planning, preparation and circulation of board papers, minute taking, action tracking, and the maintenance of statutory registers and records.
- Supporting partner-related governance matters.
- Contributing to risk management initiatives.
- Helping drive efficiencies through the implementation of AI tools and technology.
The successful candidate will have experience working within a regulated environment and liaising with regulatory bodies such as the SRA, PRA, FCA, or the Bank of England. A CGI qualification (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
