Role Overview
This British multinational FTSE 250 listed company is now seeking to recruit a strong number two, a role that will report directly to the Group Company Secretary. Working as an immediate team of two, with some team administrative support, you'll take on a very broad remit covering wider corporate governance duties, Board and Committee support, shareholder engagement, regulatory and statutory compliance as well as subsidiary governance, corporate transactions, and also project-based work.
Key Responsibilities
- Ownership of Key Duties: Ability to take ownership of key duties, working autonomously and being able to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Engagement with Stakeholders: Excellent exposure to key stakeholders and comfort in effectively engaging with people at all levels within the business.
- Skills and Experience: Strong applicants will be those who are CGI qualified (ideally ACG) who have a strong, broad set of skills gained within a main market listed company.
- Team and Time Management: Being comfortable in operating in a lean team, managing your own time and tasks will be important.

Requirements
- Qualifications: CGI qualified (ideally ACG).
- Experience: Strong, broad set of skills gained within a main market listed company.
- Teamwork: Comfortable in operating in a lean team.
- Time Management: Ability to manage your own time and tasks.

Benefits
- Compensation: A very strong salary and benefits package is on offer.
- Position Levels: The role can be offered at Deputy Company Secretary level or Senior Assistant Company Secretary level, depending on experience level.
- Work Arrangement: The role will be offered on a full-time, permanent basis with a hybrid working policy of three days in the office, two from home.
