Deputy Completions Manager (Onshore role) – Suffolk

£650 per day (outside IR35) + 14/14 rotation + immediate start + 12-month contract (rolling)

Deputy Completions Manager responsibilities include:

  • Onshore support to the offshore completions team on the completion and commissioning processes for all major Wind turbine assets including Foundations, Inter-array and export cables, Offshore substation (OSS), Wind turbine generators (WTGs) etc
  • Manage the implementation and tracking of the Completion Management System (CMS), ensuring accurate status reporting, documentation control, punch list management, and system readiness for handover.
  • Coordinate daily with key project stakeholders, including Tier 1 contractors, commissioning teams, package managers etc.
  • Monitor progress against client-specific commissioning and completion milestones.
  • Prepare and oversee the compilation and approval of completion and commissioning dossiers, handover certificates, and final documentation packages.
  • Deputise for the Completions Manager when required, representing the offshore completion team at project meetings.

Deputy Completions Manager profile:

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Marine, or similar discipline) or similar.
  • Ideally 3-5 years’ completions experience in onshore / offshore wind projects, oil & gas, or large infrastructure completions/commissioning projects.
  • Experience in onshore / offshore wind projects within the UK sector.
  • Working knowledge of UK CDM Regulations, UK offshore construction standards, and completion best practices.
  • Proficient in the use of Completion Management Systems (such as PIMS, MCPlus, GoCompletions, or similar).
