We’re currently looking for a Deputy Content Manager to join our Channel Optimisation team on a 12-month fixed-term basis (September 2026 – September 2027).

About the Role

Working alongside the Content Manager, this role involves content planning, channel management and reporting across web, app, email and social media. Our Deputy Content Manager is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of Harrods' digital content strategy (under the guidance of the Content Manager), whilst collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality content aligned with brand values and business objectives.

It is imperative the Deputy Content Manager maintains the digital content calendar across web, app, email channels, and social platforms, as well as plotting brand packages in the digital content calendar and scheduling annualised packages in advance of media bookings.

By extracting actionable insights from reports, the Deputy Content Manager will propose strategic, data-driven recommendations for digital media package evolution and optimisation, and devise new user behaviour-driven media opportunities across the website. Additionally, this role delivers reporting for partnerships packages and placements, utilizing tools like Google Analytics and Dashboards for PCR.

Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
