- People leadership, capability development and organisational culture across multidisciplinary teams
- Senior stakeholder engagement and cross-MoJ coordination to enable coherent, end-to-end service delivery.
Essential Experience
- Proven senior leadership of large-scale technology services with significant operational and reputational impact.
- Track record of leading the transformation and modernisation of communication services while maintaining service stability and performance.
- Strong experience of managing major suppliers, significant budgets and delivering value for money through effective commercial and financial management.
- Demonstrable ability to influence senior stakeholders, lead multidisciplinary teams and build alignment across organisational boundaries.
- Experience developing and implementing technology strategies and roadmaps that balance service resilience, user needs, modernisation and value for money
Desirable Experience
- Experience leading enterprise communication services, including telephony, video, workplace technology or real-time collaboration platforms.
- Experience operating in a highly regulated, operationally critical environment such as government, justice, healthcare, defence or emergency services.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact across the Ministry of Justice, strengthening the communication services that enable our people, support operational delivery and help improve how citizens and colleagues experience justice services.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
