About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and compassionate leader to join our senior team. This high-impact role provides strategic and clinical leadership across nursing, midwifery, and AHPs with a focus on the delivery of Education (both undergraduate and postgraduate) and workforce development. As the Trust lead for Advanced Practice and Non-Medical Prescribing, this individual will need to maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge and a wider understanding of the national agenda.

This is a unique opportunity to lead with purpose, shape compassionate care, and influence system-wide improvement. If you’re ready to make a lasting impact, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Professional Director of Nursing and Patient Experience, the Deputy Director of Nursing and Multidisciplinary Education will be integral to the delivery of the Education plan, and to the leadership of nursing across the whole Trust including workforce aspects, as the lead for Safe Staffing in Nursing.

The post holder will support the delivery of the Nursing, Midwifery & Allied Health Professionals (AHP) strategy for the Trust. This will include the development and delivery of professional standards and the development of leadership within nursing and AHPs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
