The New Hospital Programme
The New Hospital Programme is more than building hospitals, it’s a once in a generation opportunity to shape the future of healthcare in England. We’re delivering over 40 new hospitals that will be modern, sustainable and built around the needs of patients and staff. The Role
You will support the leadership and delivery of the Integration workstream, helping drive coordination across complex programme activities to support delivery of the New Hospital Programme.
The Role Will
- Lead and manage complex programme integration activity to support delivery of programme objectives.
- Work closely with senior leadership to support the development and delivery of the programme’s integrated plan.
- Provide leadership and oversight to ensure alignment across programme workstreams and delivery partners.
- Support engagement with internal and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated delivery across multiple disciplines.
- The post holder will support and deputise for the Integration Director where required.

Requirements
The role requires significant experience operating within large-scale and complex programmes, ideally within infrastructure, capital programmes, government or similarly complex environments. Experience within healthcare systems would be beneficial but is not essential.

Inter Authority Transfer (IAT)

This retrieves key data from your current or previous NHS employer to support onboarding, including competency status, Continuous Service Dates (CSD), and annual leave entitlement. You may opt out at any stage of the process.
Office Base
Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in our offices.
Pay
Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.
