Lead the Future of Responsible Sourcing at Proforest

Are you an experienced leader in sustainable agriculture and forestry supply chains looking to make a real difference?

At Proforest, we're looking for a senior expert to help shape the future of responsible sourcing. You'll work with some of the world's leading food and consumer goods companies, helping them tackle challenges linked to forests, biodiversity, water, climate and sustainable production.

This role is ideal for someone with deep technical knowledge, strong stakeholder relationships and a passion for supporting others to grow and succeed.

🚀 What You'll Do

  • Lead large, international responsible sourcing programmes
  • Advise senior leaders on sustainability strategies and implementation
  • Build trusted partnerships with global clients and industry stakeholders
  • Drive innovation in responsible sourcing approaches
  • Represent Proforest in industry forums and collaborative initiatives
  • Coach and develop talented teams across regions and disciplines
  • Help strengthen our expertise in areas such as forest conservation, restoration, biodiversity and water stewardship

👤 About You

We're looking for someone who brings:

  • 15+ years' experience working in responsible sourcing, sustainability consulting, FMCG or agricultural supply chains
  • Strong expertise in nature-related sustainability topics, such as forests, biodiversity, regenerative agriculture or water stewardship
  • Experience leading complex international projects
  • Confidence influencing senior decision-makers
  • A people-focused leadership style that helps others thrive
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

⭐ Bonus If You Have

  • Experience in human rights, livelihoods or climate programmes
  • Knowledge of European agricultural supply chains
  • Additional language skills, including Spanish, French, Portuguese, Bahasa or Mandarin
  • Experience participating in industry collaborations or multi-stakeholder initiatives

💰 Salary UK: £75,000-£82,000
