Deputy Finance Business Partner - Wythenshawe, Trafford, Withington, and Altrincham (WTWA) Finance Team
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for two Deputy Finance Business Partners within the Wythenshawe, Trafford, Withington, and Altrincham (WTWA) finance team. Based out of Wythenshawe Hospital, you will support our finance and operational teams at this challenging but exciting time.
Role Overview
One of the posts will work with the Medicine & Urgent Emergency Care Divisions. The other post is with the Respiratory Division.
The role offers the opportunity to gain a breadth of experience through working with budget holders that cover acute wards, community services, outpatient clinics, and specialist services.
Responsibilities
The Deputy Finance Business Partner will be responsible for the provision of comprehensive financial support to either Medicine & Urgent Emergency Care Divisions or Respiratory Division at MFT. You will be a key team member with responsibility for managing the month-end process including reporting, forecasting, and Value for Patients reporting.
The role will support the Senior Finance Business Partners in delivering the main objectives for the Divisions, ensuring the production of relevant, accurate, and timely financial information, advice, and support.

The post holder will contribute to the provision of divisional financial management support encompassing all aspects of financial management, which will include monthly income and expenditure reporting, forecast reporting, financial and business planning support, ad hoc costings, and developing financial controls.
The post holder will also support the accounting for Value for Patients for the division and will support with the implementation of detailed service reviews which through use of PLICS information will enable MFT to increase the value of the services to the patients we serve.
Requirements
Applicants will be highly motivated CCAB or CIMA qualified accountant, or finalist, with experience of working in finance within a large organisation.
Please note we will consider applicants for a band 6 to 7 development post.
