Deputy General Manager

The Bedford Hotel Belfast is seeking an experienced and passionate Deputy General Manager, to join its exceptional team. This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in Belfast’s recently opened luxury hotel.

Who Are We?

The Bedford Hotel is a prestigious boutique hotel in the heart of Belfast, set within the iconic Scottish Mutual Building. With 82 luxury bedrooms, The Nineteen Hundred Restaurant and Cafe Bar and the Ledger Library offering private dining, we are setting new standards for hospitality in Northern Ireland.

The Bedford Hotel seeks a skilled and driven Deputy General Manager who thrives in a luxury hospitality setting. You will be a natural leader with a passion for service excellence and an unwavering commitment to creating unforgettable guest experiences. Your proactive approach, eye for detail, and ability to inspire those around you will make you the perfect fit for our team.

  • Oversee the activities of the culinary and front office departments to ensure unified operations and consistent guest experience.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies that align with the hotel’s objectives enhancing efficiency and service quality.
  • Oversee departmental budgets ensuring cost effective operations without compromising quality.
  • Uphold high standards of guest service across all supervised departments addressing and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages professional growth and high morale.
  • Ensure all operations comply with health and safety and hospitality luxury standards.
  • Develop and implement a contingency plan for emergencies ensuring staff are trained to handle various situations effectively.
