Are you an experienced hospitality leader who enjoys bringing out the best in people and creating memorable guest experiences?

We are looking for a Deputy Guest Experience and Events Manager to lead a busy workplace hospitality operation. This is a varied, hands-on role covering guest services, meetings, conferences, and corporate events.

You will support a large, established team, making sure day-to-day operations run smoothly while continuing to develop the service. You will be someone who is visible, approachable, and comfortable balancing people leadership with operational responsibilities.

Contract type:

Full-time, permanent

Salary:

£48,000 to £52,000 per annum

Hours:

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, working on a shift rota with some flexibility required

The successful candidate will be required to go through a detailed 6-year vetting.

What The Role Involves

  • Leading, motivating, and supporting a large, diverse guest services and events team.
  • Creating a welcoming, professional, and consistent experience for guests and colleagues.
  • Overseeing the smooth running of reception, meeting room, reservations, and event services.
  • Planning and delivering corporate meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Managing rotas, payroll submissions, operational systems, and service reporting.
  • Working closely with internal departments, service partners, and external suppliers.
  • Coaching and developing team members through regular feedback, appraisals, and performance reviews.
  • Maintaining clear procedures and ensuring company, health and safety, and operational standards are followed.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve the service and supporting wider operational projects.
  • Acting as a positive ambassador for Rapport and representing our values through everything you do.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience leading a Guest Services, Front of House, workplace hospitality, or corporate events team.
  • Strong experience planning and delivering corporate events and conferences.
  • A supportive and engaging leadership style, with a genuine interest in developing people.
  • The confidence to manage a busy operation and balance several priorities at once.
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience with rotas, operational planning, systems, and reporting.
  • A warm, professional, and down-to-earth approach.
  • The ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and service partners.
  • A proactive mindset and the confidence to solve problems calmly and effectively.
