  • The Medlock at Etihad Campus, Manchester

At The Medlock, every detail matters - the gentle glow of a perfectly prepared room, the calm precision behind the scenes, the quiet confidence of a team who take pride in creating memorable stays.

We're looking for a Deputy Head Housekeeper who embodies that same spirit: someone who leads with warmth, inspires with integrity and understands that true hospitality is felt in the spaces we create.

About The Medlock

The Medlock, a Radisson Blu hotel, is a brand-new 401-key hotel set to be a game-changer in hospitality, seamlessly integrating with one of the most prestigious entertainment and sporting destinations globally.

The next evolution of the Etihad Campus will see it become a thriving sports and entertainment district, featuring state-of-the-art training facilities, a world-class 60,000-seater stadium, and vibrant leisure spaces including the Co-op Live arena. It will become a world-class hub for elite sport, music, and entertainment, attracting visitors from around the world.

About the Role

As our Deputy Head Housekeeper, you'll be the calm, capable force that keeps the heartbeat of the department steady and strong. Working closely with the Head Housekeeper, you'll help shape the daily rhythm of the team - ensuring every guest corridor and shared space carries the signature Medlock finish our guests will come to know and love.

You'll lead with warmth, clarity, and a grounded confidence, supporting the team to deliver exceptional standards while helping create a workplace where people feel encouraged, motivated, and proud of what they do. With an organised approach and a sharp eye for detail, you'll help manage the day-to-day operation to ensure everything runs smoothly, efficiently, and always with the guest experience at the centre.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Support the Head Housekeeper in leading the team with positivity, professionalism, and pride - ensuring every room and public area is beautifully presented, refreshed, and guest-ready.
  • Your day will involve anything from assisting with daily room allocations, rotas, and performance; coaching and training your team with hands-on leadership, to working closely with Front Office and Engineering teams to maintain a seamless, connected guest journey.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
