Exciting Opportunity in Audiology Department
There is an exciting opportunity to join our large Audiology department based at the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust in Guildford.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of Adult Audiology Services at Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust. They will provide clinical expertise and leadership in Adult Audiology, offering routine and specialist clinical services to adults. The postholder will work within a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring resources are efficiently managed to meet service demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical expertise and leadership in Adult Audiology.
- Offer routine and specialist clinical services to adults.
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Efficiently manage department resources.
- Develop the Adult Audiology Service in line with national improvement actions.
- Manage department accounts.
- Deputise for the Head of Audiology Services in their absence.
Supervision and Training
The post holder will play a key role in providing supervision, training, and advice to junior staff and students, including maintaining a rolling training program within the department.
Collaboration
The Adult Clinical Lead will work closely with the Paediatric Clinical Lead, Team Leads, and a motivated Audiology team committed to providing a quality and efficient patient-focused service, with ongoing service improvement, reflective practice, and critical evaluation.

Service Delivery
We offer Audiology services across Surrey and Hampshire. This post is based in Guildford, although you may be required to travel to outreach clinics to enable management and delivery of an integrated Audiology service.

Working Hours
This role may involve 7-day-a-week working to support the service. Core hours of service are 9am - 5pm. Flexible working patterns can be discussed at interview.
