Services Business Interim Deputy Head of Legal

Services business with a global presence require an Interim Deputy Head of Legal for a 13-month period to oversee the legal function during a period of maternity leave. The offices are based in Central London and this would be on a hybrid model (2-3 days/week in the office). You must be available to start by October.

About the Role

The incumbent will be tasked with playing a key role in high-level and often complex commercial deals, as well as providing day-to-day advice on matters ranging from technology, IP, data, and service agreements. You will be responsible for managing three lawyers in the team. And the postholder will also be required to take the lead on a technology transformation that the team is currently undergoing in relation to their delivery of legal services to the business.

  • Accomplished commercial lawyer (ideally 10PQE+ but applications from all levels will be considered on merit)
  • Experience in managing a small to mid-size team
  • Experience of leading a technology transformation project in a previous role
  • Proactive mindset and empathetic style
