About the Role
Services business with a global presence require an Interim Deputy Head of Legal for a 13 month period to oversee the legal function during a period of maternity leave. The offices are based in Central London and this would be on a hybrid model (2-3 days/week in the office). You must be available to start in September.
Responsibilities
- Play a key role in high level and often complex commercial deals.
- Provide day-to-day advice on matters ranging from technology, IP, data, and service agreements.
- Responsible for managing three lawyers in the team.
- Take the lead on Legal Operations matters - designing and implementing projects with the goal of improving the team's service output.

Requirements
- Accomplished commercial lawyer (ideally 10PQE+ but applications from all levels will be considered on merit).
- Experience in managing a small to mid-size team.
- Experience in leading Legal Operations projects.
- Knowledge of AI and tech that can be used to optimise the team's delivery to the business.
- Proactive mindset and empathetic style.
