We're working with a growing technology-driven legal services provider firm seeking a Deputy Head of Legal to support the leadership and development of its legal function.
This is a senior appointment suited to an experienced residential property professional looking to step into a strategic leadership role. Working alongside the Head of Legal, you'll help drive legal excellence, maintain high professional standards, support operational performance, and contribute to the ongoing growth of the business.

- Support the Head of Legal in overseeing the legal function
- Assist in maintaining high standards of legal and regulatory compliance
- Provide guidance and support to conveyancers and legal teams
- Monitor quality, risk, and service delivery across the practice
- Support training, mentoring, and professional development initiatives
- Assist with complaints resolution and continuous improvement activities
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to enhance operational and client outcomes
- Help ensure the firm maintains best practice across residential conveyancing matters

About You:
- Be a qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Chartered Legal Executive in England & Wales.
- Strong background in residential conveyancing
- Previous experience supervising, mentoring, or managing legal teams
- Sound understanding of legal risk, compliance, and professional obligations
- Commercially minded with strong leadership skills
- Passionate about delivering excellent client service and supporting team development
