We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Head of Midwifery (DHoM) to support and enable senior leadership, service development and transformation within a challenging and dynamic healthcare environment.

As Deputy Head Of Midwifery, You Will
- Support the Head of Midwifery (HoM) in delivering strategic direction and operational oversight within maternity services.
- Enhance safety and quality by implementing national and regional maternity recommendations.
- Collaborate with key partners, including the Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS) and Maternity Voices Partnership (MVP), ensuring co-production and patient-centred care.
- Provide visible, accessible leadership, mentoring and coaching staff to foster innovation, resilience and excellence in maternity care.
- Lead on service user engagement, supporting responses to concerns and ensuring clear, compassionate communication with women and families.
- Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion, ensuring they are embedded in all service decisions.
