Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: ALT Leadership L16 - L20 (£77,676 - £85,547 FTE)
This is an exciting opportunity for a proven, inspirational leader with the vision, knowledge and experience to build on Highfield Ely Academy's existing good practice.
The Deputy Headteacher will work with the Headteacher to deliver strategic leadership and, with others, lead and develop the strategic direction of the school. Operationally, the Deputy Headteacher will help to develop, implement and evaluate the school's practices and ensure resources are efficiently and effectively managed.
We are looking for a Deputy Headteacher at Highfield Ely Academy who will:
- Be an inspirational leader who has demonstrable experience of working with pupils with a range of complex needs, curriculum development and delivery.
- Share our ambition for every child to achieve their full potential regardless of the complexity of their needs, in addition to having
- A collaborative approach to being part of an ambitious Trust
- A vision for the future development of the school, with a determination to achieve excellence
- The skills to lead, motivate and inspire by being a visible leader
- Experience of supporting and motivating a dynamic and forward-thinking staff group by fostering respectful relationships and focusing on their career development and wellbeing
- The ability to deliver a diverse curriculum which meets the needs of all pupils
- A commitment to ensuring every child feels valued and respected
- An outward facing approach in order to build and develop relationships and partnership working
- Excellent communication skills, emotional intelligence, resilience and a positive attitude
