About the Role
A welcoming SEN school in Chiswick is seeking an experienced Deputy Headteacher to join the senior team on a permanent, full-time basis from September. Key Duties: Deputy Headteacher: Chiswick
- Work alongside the Headteacher to lead the secondary provision in Chiswick.
- Monitor and develop the quality of teaching and learning across the school.
- Manage and develop teaching staff and middle leaders.
- Contribute to whole-school improvement planning and implementation.
- Ensure that safeguarding and student welfare remain a priority.
- Build strong relationships with families, external agencies, and professionals.
- Oversee curriculum development and assessment across the secondary department.
- Promote high expectations for student achievement and behavior.
Requirements: Deputy Headteacher: Chiswick
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Previous experience in a senior leadership position, such as Assistant Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher.
- Experience working within an SEN setting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- A thorough understanding of safeguarding, curriculum development, and school improvement.
- The ability to manage and motivate staff effectively.
