Our Children's Home Rhondda
We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, and caring Deputy Home Manager to join our team! We support children and young people up to the age of 18, with a range of needs, including emotional dysregulation, grief and loss, challenging behaviours, mental health needs in a group living environment. Our home has 4 bedrooms in the main house, including one en-suite bedroom and a fully functioning self-contained annex.

Our team takes a therapeutic approach to care, understanding that every young person is unique. Our home in Rhondda is a warm, nurturing space, where children are supported to feel safe, valued, and accepted for who they are. We pride ourselves on creating an environment that feels like a home, with relationships at the heart of everything we do. We have worked really hard over recent months to make our home feel comfortable for our young people, our most recent addition is our dedicated 'cloud room', a therapeutic and calming space designed around the needs of the young people. This space allows the young people to relax, watch films on the projector screen, use sensory resources to support regulation, reflect on their thoughts and feelings, and spend time with our therapist and staff in a comfortable environment.

Requirements
- A full UK driving license is essential.
- Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People.
- Willingness to study towards the Level 5 Diploma.
- Team leader experience within residential care.
- High attention to detail.
