Job Description
Location: Saintfield Lodge Care Home, 4 Old Saintfield Road, Carryduff
We are seeking a Deputy Manager to join our exceptional team at Electus Healthcare in Saintfield Lodge Care Home. This role is pivotal in supporting the management of our care homes and ensuring that we provide outstanding care to our residents. You will play a key role in fostering a supportive environment for both staff and residents.
Pay rate: £24.73 - £27.50 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Home Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Supervise staff members, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance.
- Implement person-centred care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
- Monitor the quality of care provided and address any issues promptly.
- Coordinate training and development opportunities for team members.
- Manage medication administration processes and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Foster a positive team culture that encourages collaboration and mutual support.

About The Role
- NMC Pin
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare or care home setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and staff.
- Understanding of medication administration protocols and healthcare regulations.
- A relevant qualification in health or social care is preferred.

Required Criteria
- RGN qualified with active UK PIN Number
- Excellent working knowledge of regulatory standards
- Experience running a care home is essential
- Strong leadership skills
- Understanding and Compassionate nature
- Committed to delivering high quality care

Salary: From £24.73 Hourly to £27.50 Hourly
