Job Title
Working within a luxury 4-star hotel, the role requires a hands-on approach, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to respond quickly to operational issues while maintaining high standards for guests and colleagues.
Hospitality & Service
- To ensure guests arriving at the hotel find their bedrooms in a well-maintained and serviced condition and that all services and facilities are working as should be expected in a prestigious four-star luxury hotel.
- To ensure that any guest requests are dealt with in a prompt and efficient manner.
- To respond promptly to guest enquiries or complaints and to keep your manager and the Duty Manager informed.
Communication, Planning, and Organisation
- To be aware of and knowledgeable concerning the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), to ensure that all procedures are carried out.
- To ensure that any Health & Safety matter is communicated immediately to the Maintenance and Facilities Manager and the Duty Manager.
- To record any incidents into the comment book and exchange relevant information with heads of departments.
- To plan the working day as directed by your manager.
- To respond quickly and efficiently to any instruction given by the Duty Manager.

Health & Safety
- To ensure that he/she complies with H&S Regulations, fire precautions, and evacuation procedures and procedures contained in the hotel SOP manuals.
- To attend health and safety meetings and adhere to the safety procedures contained in the company safety policy.
- Carry out hazard spot checks during the day and report any matters to your manager or Duty Manager.
- Report any accidents, complete an accident report, and ensure this is passed to your manager.
- Report any faulty tools or equipment to your manager immediately.

- To maintain the maintenance service to the highest standard to enable the hotel to maintain its four-star status.
- To always appear in a clean and smartly presented uniform befitting the image of a prestigious hotel.
