Deputy Store Manager - Oxford Street Flagship

Oxford Street, London

Salary: £34,000 + Monthly Bonus (up to 10% of salary based on store performance)

Are you a passionate retail leader who thrives on delivering exceptional customer experiences and developing high-performing teams? We are seeking an experienced Deputy Store Manager to join one of the UK's leading lingerie retailers at its prestigious Oxford Street flagship store.

Supporting an established Store Manager, you will play a key role in leading a team of 12 colleagues in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This is a highly visible role where success is driven through service excellence, commercial awareness, and outstanding leadership on the shop floor.

About the Role

As Deputy Store Manager, you will be a hands-on leader who spends significant time on the sales floor, inspiring your team to deliver memorable customer experiences. You will drive customer engagement, maximise conversion opportunities, and ensure the highest standards of presentation and service are consistently maintained.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Store Manager with the day-to-day operation of the flagship store
  • Leading, coaching and motivating a team of 12 to achieve sales and service targets
  • Driving customer engagement through exceptional product knowledge and personalised service
  • Monitoring and improving conversion rates and key commercial KPIs
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture
  • Ensuring customers receive expert guidance and a premium shopping experience
  • Supporting recruitment, training and ongoing people development
  • Maintaining outstanding visual merchandising and operational standards

About You

  • Previous retail management experience as an Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager or equivalent
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for coaching and developing others
  • Service-led with a genuine focus on creating exceptional customer experiences
  • Commercially aware with experience delivering sales and KPI performance
  • Comfortable leading from the front in a busy, high-profile retail environment
  • A passion for fashion, lingerie, or premium customer service would be advantageous
