The Role
We are looking for a Deputy Manager to support survivors of domestic abuse in our Refuge service. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the service to deliver positive, people-focused support, working in a team context to achieving the best outcomes for people.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support the Manager to deliver person-centred support
- Line manage support workers and housing management worker
- Drive service development and improvement
- Work with stakeholder partners to enhance networks and outcomes
- Ensure legal, organisational and regulatory compliance
- Contribute to organisational goals through key involvement in training, working groups and national programmes
What You’ll Bring
- Some experience of working with vulnerable adults or survivors of domestic abuse
- Strong leadership and people management skills

Working Arrangements
- This is a service-based role with standard hours are Monday – Friday 9am -5pm. Occasional evening and weekend work is required and participation in an on-call rota
- You will be required to travel to training and community partnership events and training, and organisational events may require overnight stays
