My Client is looking for a experienced Deputy Service Manager and are offering state-of-the-art facilities. They are known for having a warm, family approach delivering a high quality service. They are looking for someone committed to providing excellence ensuring a smooth running of the home.
The Role
Deputy Service Manager – Newcastle upon Tyne
- Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
- Salary: £29,750 per year
- Job Type: Permanent
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
About the Role
As Deputy Service Manager, you will work closely with the Service Manager to support the effective day-to-day running of the service. You will help lead and develop staff teams, promote high standards of person-centered support and ensure the people we support are able to achieve positive outcomes and live fulfilling lives. You will also work collaboratively with external professionals and multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and coordinated support.

About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience supporting autistic adults with learning disabilities and/or mental health conditions.
- Experience leading, supervising or supporting staff teams.
- A genuine commitment to improving the quality of life for autistic people.
- Experience working alongside multidisciplinary teams and external professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, encouraging and person-centred approach.
- The ability to motivate and support colleagues.
- A professional and proactive approach to care and support.
