Deputy General Retail Manager (Designate)

Salary: A GBP 36,000+

Location: North London

This role supports the General Manager in delivering strong commercial performance, operational excellence, and a high-quality customer experience within a fast-paced, high-footfall retail environment. The position combines leadership, commercial ownership, and hands-on operational management.

Key Requirements

  • Deliver sales, margin, and KPI targets through effective trading and performance management
  • Analyse performance data and implement actions to improve revenue and profitability
  • Lead and maintain high standards of customer experience and service delivery
  • Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing retail team
  • Ensure effective rota planning aligned with trading needs and labour budgets
  • Maintain operational compliance, including stock control, health and safety, and procedures
  • Support daily store operations, including opening, closing, and issue resolution
