Deputy General Retail Manager (Designate)
Salary: A GBP 36,000+
Location: North London
This role supports the General Manager in delivering strong commercial performance, operational excellence, and a high-quality customer experience within a fast-paced, high-footfall retail environment. The position combines leadership, commercial ownership, and hands-on operational management.
Key Requirements
- Deliver sales, margin, and KPI targets through effective trading and performance management
- Analyse performance data and implement actions to improve revenue and profitability
- Lead and maintain high standards of customer experience and service delivery
- Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing retail team
- Ensure effective rota planning aligned with trading needs and labour budgets
- Maintain operational compliance, including stock control, health and safety, and procedures
- Support daily store operations, including opening, closing, and issue resolution

- Strong retail management experience in a fast-paced environment
- Commercial awareness with a track record of achieving targets
- Effective leadership and team development capability

- Flexibility to work across peak trading periods, including weekends and evenings
