The Role

As Deputy Manager, you will be a key member of the leadership team, working closely alongside the Registered Manager to establish Bowburn Manor as a centre of excellence.

You'll help create a positive culture where residents receive exceptional person-centred care and colleagues feel supported, valued and motivated to deliver their very best.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting the Launch of a New Home Help establish exceptional working practices, high standards and a welcoming environment from day one.
• Leading and Developing Your Team Provide guidance, coaching and support to colleagues, helping them grow in confidence and deliver outstanding care.
• Championing Resident Wellbeing Ensure care plans reflect each resident's individual needs, preferences, life experiences and personal choices.
• Driving Quality Excellence Monitor standards throughout the home and support continuous improvement across all aspects of care delivery.
• Building Strong Relationships Develop positive partnerships with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals and the wider community.
• Supporting Operational Leadership Oversee the day-to-day running of the home in the Registered Manager's absence, ensuring safe and effective service delivery.
• Maintaining Compliance Support regulatory requirements, safeguarding responsibilities, audits, investigations and statutory reporting.
• Promoting Effective Communication Ensure clear communication, robust handovers and collaborative working across all departments.
• Flexibility You will need to be flexible in your approach to meet the needs of the business. Occasionally you may be required to cover weekends or nights.
