Accordia Care is looking for a committed and exceptionally driven Deputy Manager for a supported living service situated in Epsom, Surrey. This role entails supporting and assisting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring that high standards of care and support are maintained.

Working within Health & Social Care can sometimes be high-pressure and unpredictable. There are times when the individuals that we support will be in crisis. If you are interested in this role, it is essential that you understand the challenges that lie ahead and can keep a calm and professional demeanour whilst supporting those in need.

About You

We are looking for a motivated & caring individual who would like a rewarding role within a supported living service that really makes a difference.

As a Deputy Manager, you will help guide & lead our team in supporting service users in their homes. Accordia staff benefit from great career progression, sector-leading professional training and great job stability.

We specialise in providing person-centred care for adults with a forensic mental health background, challenging behaviour, learning disabilities and autism to enable them to play a meaningful role within their community. You will be responsible for the delivery of outstanding care to the people we support.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Deputy Manager or Team Leader in a supported living setting, ideally providing support to clients with forensic mental health challenges.
  • Extensive experience in supporting people with learning disabilities and complex needs.
  • Level 5 Qualifications in Health and/or Social Care in Adult Care or a commitment to achieve this.
  • Excellent understanding of CQC requirements.
  • A strong grasp of safeguarding, compliance and the highest care standards, ensuring a commitment to ethical and responsible care provision.
  • A track record of effectively leading and motivating care teams, fostering a culture of encouragement and teamwork.
  • Familiarity with liaising with clients about services users.
