The Tivoli isn't like anywhere else in Cambridge. Spread across five floors, the venue combines two evolving street food kitchens, four vibrant bars, two 9-hole indoor golf courses, a shuffleboard basement, private screening and event spaces, and a stunning roof terrace overlooking Jesus Green. Every day brings something different, and every service demands energy, organisation and exceptional leadership.

Responsibilities
As Deputy Manager, you'll be responsible for helping to lead one of the city's most exciting hospitality businesses. You'll know how to manage a large and diverse team, maintain the atmosphere and energy across an entire five-storey venue, and ensure every customer leaves having had an unforgettable experience.
This role demands someone who can balance operational excellence with genuine hospitality. You'll take ownership of every aspect of the business - from maintaining impeccable health and safety standards to driving service, coaching your team and making smart commercial decisions that improve performance.
You'll have a solid understanding of fresh food operations, great cocktails, stock control and P&L management. You'll know how to manage labour, control costs and deliver consistently strong financial results without ever compromising the customer experience.
What we look for in a Deputy Manager
We're looking for an exceptional Deputy Manager to help lead one of Cambridge's most exciting hospitality venues.
This is a role for someone with the experience, confidence and bandwidth to seamlessly manage a varied and demanding workload. One minute you'll be leading a busy service and developing your team, the next you'll be coordinating supplier-supported activations, overseeing social media campaigns, delivering against our packed events calendar, or ensuring every corner of the venue is operating at its very best.
