Agincare Enable are currently recruiting for a Deputy Manager to help lead in multiple sites across our Hampshire region in Southampton, Fareham & Gosport. About The Role
Reporting to the Registered Manager, as Deputy Manager you will be responsible for providing operational management support, leadership, and oversight across multiple services within the Hampshire region in Southampton, Fareham & Gosport.
- You will support in delivering a safe, caring, responsive, effective, and well-led service for both the people we support and staff, ensuring the highest possible standards of care are maintained in line with organisational and regulatory Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- You will ensure that individual needs are regularly reviewed to meet current requirements, and that high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety are consistently maintained across all services.
- You will support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the services, assuming full responsibility in their absence.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- To support the Registered Manager with oversight of multiple services, ensuring compliance is maintained at all times in line with regulatory and organisational standards.
- To support the Registered Manager with line management, leadership, and development of staff across your services, including Care Managers, Seniors, and Support Workers.
- To ensure that operational and quality assurance KPIs are consistently met, working closely with the Registered Manager to drive continuous improvement.
- To actively promote the business and maintain positive relationships with people we support, families, professionals, and stakeholders through excellent communication and customer service.
- To prepare, manage, and oversee staff rotas across services, ensuring resources are effectively utilised and care delivery remains consistent.
- To support the Registered Manager in budget management and promote financial discipline across services.
- To ensure that Agincare Enable’s values of holistic, person-centred care are embedded across all services, supporting individuals to achieve positive, outcome-based goals.
- To support the Registered Manager in ensuring all safeguarding concerns and notifiable events are managed appropriately and reported to the Care Quality Commission (CQC) within required timescales.
- To attend and contribute to meetings as required, ensuring actions are clearly identified and followed through to completion.
- To undertake shifts within services where required, role modelling best practice and supporting teams to deliver high-quality care that promotes independence.
- To act as a role model in adhering to all company policies and procedures.
- To undertake on-call duties as part of a rota system, ensuring effective out-of-hours support is available across the services.
- Any other duties that are commensurate with the role and level of responsibility.

About You
- QCF Level 4 or 5/RMA/Health & Social Care or prepared to undertake
- Previous Leadership and Management experience in a similar environment or proven experience as a Senior Support Worker
- Demonstrate up to date knowledge of the care sector and the regulatory framework
- Proven IT experience, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills at a range of levels
- Must have a valid UK Driving License
