Job Summary

This role provides the following services to the Trust: -

  • You’ll be responsible for supporting the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and the nursery’s policies and procedures.
  • You’ll play a large part in helping to lead, mentor, and support the nursery team at Mosaic, promoting a positive, collaborative, and professional culture while ensuring staff development and performance are maintained to a high standard.
  • You’ll help the manager to collaborate with a range of individuals, building strong, trusting relationships with families and external agencies, supporting each child’s development and wellbeing, and ensuring the nursery is always prepared for Ofsted inspections.

What You Will Bring To The Role

  • Must be at least a level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification with a recognised level 5 early years qualification
  • Excellent understanding of EYFS.
  • Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
  • Have experience at managing day care settings with knowledge of all Ofsted Welfare Requirements for children and inspection procedures
  • To have experience supporting team members to achieve good outcomes of Ofsted inspections, Quality Assurance Schemes, Local Authority initiatives.
