Deputy Private Patients Finance Manager
The Deputy Private Patients Finance Manager plays a key role in supporting the financial management, reporting, and operational performance of Parkside. The post holder will assist in the delivery of accurate and timely financial information, support budgetary and business planning processes, contribute to service improvement initiatives, and provide leadership within the Parkside Finance team.
The role will support the Private Patients Finance Manager in ensuring robust financial governance, excellent operational performance, and compliance with Trust policies and regulatory requirements. The post holder will also provide management support to finance staff and deputise for the Private Patients Finance Manager during periods of absence.
- Supporting the production and development of monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reporting.
- Assisting with forecasting, budgeting, income and expenditure analysis, and identification of revenue opportunities.
- Developing and maintaining reporting tools, databases, and advanced spreadsheet models to support business decision-making.
- Supporting strategic and operational projects as directed by the Private Patients Finance Manager.
- Providing financial and operational support to Parkside managers and budget holders.
- Providing month-end reporting and finance management cover during periods of managerial absence.
- Managing the Parkside purchase order process and providing procurement-related support to managers.
- Supporting the management, development, and performance of staff within the Parkside Finance function.
- Reviewing and implementing processes and procedures to improve efficiency, compliance, and service delivery.
