About the Role

Pinnacle Group are looking for an experienced Deputy Property Manager to assist the Property Manager in ensuring our responsibilities as the Managing Agent are effectively discharged, estate-based Pinnacle personnel are managed and supervised, the estate is safe and well maintained, service charges are collected and leaseholder enquires are responded to in a timely manner.

You will be joining our Residential Property Management team based in Hackney. The Residential Property Management team oversees large, complex residential developments on behalf of Institutional Investors, Developers and Residents’ Management Companies, providing comprehensive leasehold and block management services.

The Ideal Candidate

The Ideal Candidate will have experience in block management and health and safety compliance, strong organisational and communication skills. They should be confident of managing contractor relationships and service charge processes. You’ll bring energy and initiative to resident engagement, making every interaction count while keeping stakeholders informed with clarity and confidence.

This is a hybrid role including travel across Brentford, Wembley and Woolwich.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who, alongside the key criteria below, will sign up to our values of Trust, Respect, Involve, Challenge and Deliver Excellence and will be determined to maintain the confidence of our clients and communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Property Manager to ensure annual Service Charge accounts are created, approved by client and issued to leaseholders
  • Monitor payment of contractors and ensure invoices are processed promptly.
  • Assist in dealing with queries relating to the Service Charge.
  • Undertake regular site visits and create site reports covering observations and remedial works required.
  • Instruct contractors for repair works and verify contractor work completed to spec.
  • Respond to leaseholder/resident enquiries (phone, email, face-to-face).
  • Create and issue notices to leaseholders/residents.
  • Create and issue periodic estate newsletters, updates on the portal, Assist in arranging periodic estate meetings with leaseholders/residents.
  • Arrange periodic health and safety assessments/inspections (e.g. lifts, plant, machinery, water and fire) and discharge any resulting actions.

  • Proven experience in residential block management, including site inspections and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of service charge budgeting, invoicing and leaseholder queries.
  • Confident in managing contractors and handling insurance claims from instruction to completion.
  • Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to resident engagement.
  • A relevant housing qualification is advantageous.
