A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Deputy Home Manager to work in an amazing residential service based in the Dewsbury, West Yorkshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

This is a fantastic residential service located close to Dewsbury town centre. It provides support for adult males and females with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, mental health needs, and autism. The service offers a safe and supportive environment where individuals can receive care tailored to their needs

As The Deputy Manager Your Key Responsibilities Include

  • Holds regular staff meetings to foster good communication and feedback.
  • Maintains positive contact with commissioners and referrers to develop confidence in service provision.
  • Carries out or ensures that all risk assessments e.g. clinical risk assessment, COSHH, Legionella, Moving and handling etc are carried out in a rigorous and timely manner.
  • Monitors the standards of cleanliness of the home to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory bodies.
  • Inducts and orientates new staff in a timely fashion and ensures statutory and other training is provided to maximise the ability of new staff to become integrated into the care setting.

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

  • A natural leader: approachable, supportive, and great at bringing out the best in others.
  • Experience in Learning Disability and Autism.
  • Experience working in a similar environment.
  • Passionate about high-quality care and know how important it is to residents and their families.
  • A driver with a full, UK driving license for a minimum of 3 years is desirable.

To be considered for this position you must have experience working in a similar role and setting.

Benefits

The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of GBP14.95 per hour and the annual salary is GBP31,096 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours a week on days. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
