To do this successfully in this job will require attendance at a Dstl location; Government Departments including wider MoD or Delivery and Mission Partner’s premises for 60% of your working time. Where business needs allow, and with the agreement of your line manager, there may be the option for a combination of workplace and home-based working. This is a non-contractual arrangement.

Job Summary

In this role you will provide assurance of the correct security management of SAP (Special Assess Program) and codeword materials within Dstl. You will collaborate with partners to ensure the protection of MOD information, assets and its people.

This is a dynamic and fast-paced role, often requiring responses to time-critical and high-priority requests.

Job Description

In this role you will act as point of contact for all SAP security related processes, guidance and enquiries within Dstl. You will maintain records of Senior Compartment Owners (SCO) as well as Compartment Administrators (CA) You will work collaboratively to help provide effective risk management.

You will use your excellent communication and personal skills to work collaboratively and build strong working relationships within Dstl and partners across defence.

Person Specification

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has

  • A minimum of 3 GCSE's (A-C or equivalent grading)
  • Knowledge of MOD or Dstl security policy
  • Good interpersonal skills and evidence of effective collaboration and partnership

Our work in defence, security and intelligence requires our employees to be UK Nationals who are able to gain a high level of security clearance to undertake the projects we are involved in to protect us from security threats. For this reason, only UK Nationals will be able to apply for this role. This role will require full UK security clearance and you should have resided in the UK for the past 5 years. For some roles Developed Vetting will also be required, in this case you should have resided in the UK for the past 10 years.
