Are you an experienced security professional ready to take the next step in your leadership career? We are seeking a highly motivated Deputy Security Manager to support the delivery of exceptional security services within a complex, high-profile environment in Aberdeen.
Working alongside the Security Manager, you will play a key role in leading a dedicated security team, maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational excellence. About The Role
As Deputy Security Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of site security operations, ensuring the protection of people, assets, and infrastructure. You will lead by example, providing strong operational leadership while fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.
The successful candidate will be confident in making decisions, managing incidents, and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leadership, workplace teams, emergency services, and external agencies.
- Support the Security Manager in the delivery of all site security operations.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of security professionals.
- Manage incident response activities and ensure accurate reporting and documentation.
- Conduct security risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Oversee access control systems and monitor security technologies, including the C-Cure 3.0 platform.
- Champion compliance, governance, and best practice across all security operations.
- Produce KPI reports, statistical analysis, and performance updates for senior management.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local law enforcement agencies.
- Oversee the management and compliance reporting of the Send Word Now platform.
- Provide comprehensive training and mentoring to members of the security team.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and operational excellence.

What We Are Looking For
You are an experienced security leader with a strong operational background and a passion for people management. You demonstrate excellent judgement, professionalism, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while driving high standards across the team.
Essential Experience
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Deputy Security Manager, Security Manager, or similar supervisory role.
- Proven experience within a high-risk or high-profile security environment.
- Strong leadership experience managing operational security teams.
- Experience managing incidents, investigations, and crisis response situations.
- Knowledge of security compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Experience developing and delivering training programmes.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Sound understanding of Health & Safety legislation and best practice.
Desirable
- IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
- Experience with C-Cure access control systems and security management platforms.
- Experience in KPI reporting, compliance management, and operational audits.
