Deputy Service Manager - Benign Gynaecology Service
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join as Deputy Service Manager within the Benign Gynaecology service at St Mary's Hospital.
The post holder will be responsible for the day to day operational management. This includes supporting the Service Manager, Clinical Director and Head of Nursing in the delivery of all performance targets, including waiting time targets, contracted activity levels, finance, standards and quality of services.
The post holder will support the Divisional service development and review programme and ensure that we provide the very best services to patients, utilising resources as effectively as possible.
The post holder will deputise for the Deputy Directorate Manager as required and will be required to work cross site, St Marys Hospital and North Manchester General Hospital.
If you're a proactive, driven and detail oriented with a passion for service improvement and patient care, then this role is for you. Leading the day-to-day management of the Directorate you’ll work with the Deputy Directorate Manager, Clinical Director in managing finance, HR and quality and safety issues in the Directorate. Reporting to the Deputy Directorate Manager, you are expected to identify and troubleshoot problems with the delivery of the service, whilst keeping disruption to a minimum.
