This Deputy Superintendent Radiographer (Fluoroscopy/Interventional Radiology)/Trainee Reporting Radiographer Development Post offers an opportunity for an experienced radiographer to develop within a progressive imaging service at West Middlesex University Hospital.
Role Overview
As a progression post, the successful candidate will be appointed as a Band 6. Upon completion of the attached progression checklist, they will be uplifted to Band 7. Progression is expected to take between 12-24 months. Please review the attached progression checklist for further details.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of fluoroscopy and interventional radiology services.
- Undertake formal postgraduate training to develop as a reporting radiographer in Adult Contrast Swallow examinations.
- Perform, interpret, and report Adult Contrast Swallow examinations, in line with an agreed scope of practice, local governance arrangements, and competency requirements.
- Deputise for the Superintendent Radiographer for Fluoroscopy, Interventional Radiology in their absence.
- Support the safe, efficient, and effective running of the fluoroscopy and interventional radiology service at West Middlesex University Hospital.
