What you'll bring to the team
We have a new permanent opportunity for a skilled multi-discipline Deputy Engineering Supervisor, to be heavily involved in managing all aspects of the daily operational running of the engineering department here at LegoLand Windsor!
As the Deputy Engineering Supervisor, you will be managing engineering shifts, to ensure that our rides are in perfect order for safe use and availability of them is optimized. You’ll be making sure that all in-season maintenance and associated PPM is completed to time and to standards expected. You’ll also be required to upkeep stock levels of spare parts, ordering what may be required in good time and utilising a maintenance stock control process.
Being the Deputy Engineering Supervisor in this position, will see you liaising with appointed inspection bodies and updating / collaborating with internal stakeholders on a regular basis. You’ll be reporting on particulars such as, ride breakdown trend analysis and implementing methods to improve ride availability and offer solutions for ongoing breakdowns as well as managing the day-to-day function of our CMMS.

The Deputy Engineering Supervisor will be accountable for ensuring that ride maintenance tasks and safety checks have been completed to the required standard allowing the rides to be handed over to the operation team by the required time before Lego Land opens to the public each day.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified to a City & Guild, NVQ level 3 or equivalent within an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering / Technician discipline
- Experience of working within a heavy industrial / automated environment such as; FMCG, Manufacturing, Logistics, Airport or Theme Park, as well as engineering related statutory requirements such as CoSHH
- Full working knowledge of the ADIPS scheme and H.S.E. Document HSG 175 “Fairgrounds and Amusement Parks Guidance on Safe Practise”
- Experience of working to PPM schedules including the use of a CMMS
- Experience of leading a team is preferred but is not essential
