Grant Thornton’s Agile Talent Community is a network of contract professionals, giving you the opportunity to work with our clients alongside Grant Thornton teams on a project-by-project basis whilst being supported by our dedicated Agile Talent team.
Joining us in Forensics
Grant Thornton’s Financial Crime & Investigations (FCI) is the first port of call for an increasing number of firms in the UK market when grappling with financial crime prevention, incident response, investigation and remediation.
Joining us as a Deputy Team Lead & QA – Know Your Assets (KYA) in Forensics, you will initially work on a project delivering BAU and remedial KYA due diligence services for a large asset manager.
Once this project is completed, you will have the freedom to continue working with us on projects that you choose, whether full or part-time within Forensics and support our clients and internal teams on short to medium-term assignments.
We’re hiring a Deputy Team Lead & QA
To support the management and quality assurance of KYA due diligence activities. The role supports the Team Lead and provides technical guidance to Analysts.

Skills we are looking for
- Acting as SME for KYA Analysts.
- Supporting workload planning and deal/screening alert triage.
- Reviewing complex due diligence and screening results and preparing summaries.
- Supporting MI, reporting, and escalations.
- Delivering on-the-job training.
- Engaging with senior stakeholders and counterparties.
- Conducting QA checks and maintaining logs.
- Identifying opportunities for process and performance improvements.
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years in KYA/KYC/KYB.
- 1+ year in QA/audit.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies.
- Strong communication skills.
Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience in the asset management sector preferred, but not essential.
- Financial Crime qualifications (CAMS / ICA), or ICAEW / ICAS qualified or other relevant qualification.
