Deputy Treasurer
£100,000 – £115,000 + Bonus + Benefits | Large Manufacturing Group | London
An outstanding opportunity to join a major international manufacturing group as Deputy Treasurer, taking a senior role within a sophisticated and highly visible Treasury function. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced treasury professional looking to step into a broader leadership position, with significant exposure to funding, liquidity, financial risk management, and strategic treasury projects.
THE ROLE
Working closely with the Group Treasurer and senior Finance leadership, you will play a key role in managing the Group's global treasury activities and supporting the development of its overall treasury strategy. You'll have genuine ownership across a broad remit, working with stakeholders across the business and managing relationships with banks, lenders, and other financial institutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Group Treasurer in the development and execution of Treasury strategy
- Lead the Group's liquidity, cash, and funding activities
- Manage and monitor FX and interest rate risk, developing appropriate hedging strategies
- Support debt and capital structure management, including refinancing and funding projects
- Oversee cash forecasting and liquidity planning across the Group
- Manage relationships with relationship banks, lenders, and financial institutions
- Provide senior-level Treasury analysis and insight to the CFO, Finance leadership, and wider business
- Drive improvements across Treasury policies, controls, processes, and systems
- Lead and support strategic Treasury transformation and technology projects
- Ensure strong governance and compliance across all Treasury activities
- Support the Group Treasurer on ad hoc strategic and corporate finance initiatives

ABOUT YOU
We're looking for a technically strong and commercially minded Treasury professional with:
- Significant experience within Corporate Treasury, ideally within a complex international organisation
- Strong knowledge of liquidity, funding, cash management, FX, and interest rate risk
- Experience of debt financing, refinancing, and banking relationships
- Excellent financial analysis and modelling skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence dealing with senior Finance leadership
- Experience leading projects and driving process improvements
- The gravitas to operate effectively at Deputy Treasurer / senior Treasury manager level
