An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated, and compassionate Band 6 Junior Sister/Charge Nurse to join the team at Jasmine Ward.
Jasmine Ward is a specialist inpatient ward providing assessment, treatment, and care for older adults with acute mental health needs. We are looking for a dynamic Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and supporting service users in their recovery journey.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day clinical and operational management of the ward, providing leadership, professional guidance, and support to nursing staff while ensuring safe and effective patient care.
You need to have a genuine passion in working with elderly patients and willing to make a difference in their lives. This role is pivotal in supporting the team in delivering care. You will be expected to deliver high standards of care incorporating the recovery approach to cover all aspects of health needs and risks within a safe environment by working closely with the relevant community services. This will involve giving support to individuals to meet their psychological and physical health needs.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the Ward Manager in implementing and monitoring all policies and ensuring that the ward functions in line with the Trust and service line philosophy of providing respectful compassionate care that is of the highest quality.
The Deputy Ward Manager will support the Ward Manager with providing a safe environment within which all staff can deliver care and support to patients and their significant others. He/she will be equipped with the skills and knowledge and resources to ensure effective deployment of resources within the agreed budgets.
