Role Overview
- $90–$130 per hour
- 100% remote
- Part-time
- 20 or more hours a week, you choose when
Work on the cutting edge of legal AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the derivatives expertise you already have.
The legal AI systems shaping contract work are trained and tested by practising lawyers. The teams building them need derivatives lawyers to develop difficult, realistic contract scenarios, assess AI's handling of those scenarios, provide the answer a skilled lawyer would give, and point out weaknesses in the analysis. The work includes ISDA Master Agreements, the standard contracts used for many derivatives transactions, along with careful judgment about contract risk. Your judgment helps shape the next generation of legal AI, in work done remotely around your current role.
What You'll Do
- Negotiate and redline ISDA Master Agreements in simulated deal exercises
- Assess AI output in derivatives contract scenarios, checking its legal accuracy and treatment of risk
- Set the standards used to score AI work on derivatives documentation
- Apply consistent standards to termination and collateral provisions

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
