Consultant Dermatologist – Tele-Derm
Availability: Flexible Sessions, Monday–Friday
Location: Remote / Tele-Derm
Rates: Competitive
We are currently seeking experienced Consultant Dermatologists to support NHS Tele-Derm services, helping Trusts manage waiting lists and provide timely specialist dermatology assessments remotely.
This is an excellent opportunity for Consultants looking for flexible additional work that can be completed remotely, while continuing to support NHS patients and waiting list initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Review dermatology referrals and clinical photographs remotely.
- Assess and interpret clinical information and images to support diagnosis and management.
- Provide appropriate clinical advice and recommendations based on the information provided.
- Identify patients who require further face-to-face assessment, investigation or treatment.
- Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation and reporting.
- Work in line with NHS clinical pathways, governance and patient safety requirements.

Requirements
- GMC registration with Specialist Register accreditation in Dermatology.
- Active Licence to Practise.
- Proven experience working as a Consultant Dermatologist within the NHS.
- Experience in reviewing dermatology referrals and clinical images.
- Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent written communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a remote clinical workload effectively.
- Appropriate professional indemnity cover for Tele-Derm work.
