An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dedicated Nurse Specialist team within the Dermatology out-patient unit situated at Brighton General Hospital in Brighton.

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic experienced Dermatology Nurse with a proven track record of delivering and organising high-quality patient care. You will have experience of working autonomously both surgically and medically with patients with complex inflammatory/malignant and non-malignant skin disease.

This role is eligible for visa sponsorship under the UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) Skilled Worker route. Sponsorship can only be provided where applicants meet the specific requirements set by UKVI, including the relevant skill and salary thresholds, and any role-specific criteria. For example, applicants for the Senior HCA role must be able to evidence a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the same role to qualify for sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

  • To offer direct support to all dermatology patients and be a core member of the dermatology team
  • Provide expert clinical knowledge to staff and patients
  • To manage own nurse lead clinics
  • Monitoring of drug safety, including interpreting test results and act on findings to alter treatment as necessary
  • Perform dermatological surgical procedures
  • Setting and working with high standards always working in a manner that promotes dignity and human rights
