ABOUT RIXO

A rail of vintage dresses. A London flat. Two best friends who wanted to build the brand they couldn't find. That was 2015. Today, RIXO is six stores across London, New York, and Ireland, known for original hand-painted prints, bias-cut silhouettes, and sizing up to a UK 26. We design for every woman, every occasion, every body. The pieces are meant to be worn, loved, and kept.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We have an exciting opportunity and are looking for a Design Admin Assistant to join our Design Team to provide day to day support and helping to deliver collections in line with our Creative Director's vision. This is an entry-level role and we are looking for someone who is curious, highly organised and strong team player.

We are looking for someone to join us on a 10-12 month fixed term contract.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting the wider Design Team with research including shape, fabrication and trim for each season
  • Assisting the designers on the creation of design packs
  • Keeping our design systems accurate and up to date, from style and product creation through to final sign-off. This includes uploading all tech packs to our PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software, preparing seasonal tech packs ready for designer sign-off, and creating and updating development and production BOMs (Bills of Materials) on PLM
  • Actioning labdips at concept stage and organising sourcing packs for suppliers on new trims, tracking and following up with suppliers
  • Constant communication with suppliers, arranging weekly video calls where necessary to track approvals and trim sourcing
  • Supporting Design in production meetings, helping track and communicate key updates and deadlines
  • Helping keep the critical path for design up to date, flagging anything that may affect dates or delivery
  • Tracking design approvals, actions, comments and development changes
  • Keeping our Miro boards updated ahead of meetings
  • Taking accurate "to do" notes for the design team during design reviews
  • Supporting colour notes during sample review, and following up as needed
  • Editing CADs after sample reviews and fittings
  • Maintaining a tidy design area in our office, organising samples and filing submissions
  • Managing DHL for the design team
  • Managing our vintage archive - tagging and logging all vintage samples, and tracking reference samples out and back to make sure everything's accounted for

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
