ABOUT HOTEL SENSUELLE STUDIO

Hotel Sensuelle Studio (HSS) is a London-based creative practice working across image-making, spatial environments, and material-led storytelling.

We build worlds through sets, garments, and objects, where each element is developed with intention, from surface to structure, extending into moving image and art direction across digital and physical touchpoints.

Our work explores the tension between the physical and the imagined, constructing images that feel both familiar and unreal.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for someone with a strong sensitivity to materials and a curiosity for how things are made, constructed, and translated into visual outcomes.

This role sits closely within design development and material exploration, contributing to a number of ongoing studio projects.

You'll be involved in the early stages of making: testing ideas, developing prototypes, fabricating objects and helping shape how concepts evolve into physical and visual forms. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands just as much as developing ideas.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

MATERIAL & DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

  • Supporting the development of sets, objects, props, and material studies
  • Experimenting with textiles, colour, finishes, and mixed materials
  • Assisting with sampling and prototyping across studio and client projects
  • Contributing to garment development, including pattern cutting, construction, and surface detailing where relevant
  • Exploring how materials translate into spatial, physical, and visual experiences

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
